A self-initiated concept for Ditto’s Premenstrual Daily. Inside each capsule, the beadlets sit suspended in oil until the shell dissolves and a slow, timed release begins. This 9.5-second loop follows that sequence, from the intact capsule, through its breakdown, to the beadlets dispersing in three colour populations. Rigid body, fluid and Vellum grain simulations in Houdini handled the physical behaviour, keeping the mechanism legible from start to finish. Made independently and not commissioned by Ditto.
